A seasonal musical sampler spans countries and faiths. Phenomenal Soprano Natalie Conte sings Italian American Pietro Yon’s beloved Gesù Bambino as well as O Holy Night. Bay Atlantic Symphony’s own Principal Horn Lyndsie Wilson perform Englishman Gordon Jacob’s jaunty concerto. Principal Oboe Marie Trudeau joins Concertmaster Ruotao Mao for the exquisite Bach Double Concerto. Variations by American composer Adolphus Hailstork on the spiritual Swing Low Sweet Chariot and a gorgeous impromptu by Jean Sibelius add rich and expressive directions.
